FAQ

How far back does the free plan keep notes?

The free Basic plan has no note cap but only a rolling 30-day history window. Notes older than 30 days are retained but locked until you upgrade, and the People and Companies views are limited to the same window.

How much does Granola cost?

Business is $14 per user per month and unlocks full history plus Notion, Zapier and CRM integrations; Enterprise starts at $35 per user per month with SSO and retention policies. All tiers bill monthly, with no annual discount offered.

Does a recording bot join my meetings?

No. Granola is bot-free on every plan and captures device audio directly, so attendees never see an extra recording participant.

Is there a web or mobile app?

There is no web app and no standalone mobile app. It relies on the desktop client to capture system audio, so it must run on the Mac or Windows machine where the meeting audio plays.

Does it replace my own note-taking?

No — that is the point of the design. You write only key judgments and numbers, AI fills in context and structure, and the two columns sit side by side, so the summary keeps your original perspective rather than a purely machine-generated one.
