NVIDIA Agent Toolkit

An open-source toolkit from NVIDIA for enterprise agents: Nemotron open models, NemoClaw blueprints, the OpenShell secure runtime and CUDA-X libraries exposed as skills, taking autonomous digital coworkers from prototype to production, with Adobe, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow and 17 enterprise software leaders on board

Tool Interface

Interactive tool will be available soon

Features

  • ✓ Open source throughout: models, agents, skills and the runtime, so enterprises keep control and auditability
  • ✓ NVIDIA OpenShell enforces policy-based security, network and privacy guardrails so autonomous agents can go to production
  • ✓ Nemotron open models, NemoClaw blueprints, the AI-Q deep research agent and ready skills such as cuOpt
  • ✓ CUDA-X libraries can be called as skills, wiring simulation and accelerated computing into agent workflows
  • ✓ Framework agnostic: works alongside LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel and Google ADK

How to Use

  1. Read the official announcement for components and fit: https://nvidianews.nvidia.com/news/enterprise-software-leaders-build-ai-agents-with-nvidia
  2. Start from the NeMo Agent Toolkit repo on GitHub and profile where your current agents stall and burn tokens
  3. Use OpenShell to set network, data and permission boundaries before connecting real business systems
  4. Prove one high-volume role such as the IT service desk end to end, then replicate across departments

FAQ

What is NVIDIA Agent Toolkit?

It is NVIDIA's open-source toolkit for enterprise agents, aimed at building digital coworkers that decide for themselves how to complete a task. It bundles open models (Nemotron), an open agent (AI-Q), open skills such as cuOpt and an open runtime (OpenShell). See https://nvidianews.nvidia.com/news/enterprise-software-leaders-build-ai-agents-with-nvidia and https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/solutions/ai/agentic-ai

What does OpenShell solve?

It is an open-source runtime that enforces security, network and privacy guardrails through policy. The enterprise fear is an agent with permissions wandering off or exfiltrating data; OpenShell turns that boundary from good intentions into enforced policy.

Who has already adopted it?

The 17 named enterprise software companies include Adobe, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, Siemens, CrowdStrike, Atlassian, Cadence, Synopsys, IQVIA, Palantir, Box, Cohesity, Dassault Systemes, Red Hat, Cisco and Amdocs. Adobe also announced a strategic partnership to run hybrid, long-running creativity, productivity and marketing agents on the toolkit.

Does it conflict with my current agent framework?

No. NVIDIA emphasises framework agnosticism: it works side by side with LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Microsoft Semantic Kernel, Google ADK and custom frameworks, adding observability, profiling and optimisation. NeMo Agent Toolkit lets existing LangGraph agents connect with almost no code changes.

What is the most typical enterprise use?

The flagship example is an IT service desk agent that reads tickets, investigates root causes with knowledge and historical data, and remediates across enterprise systems with full governance and audit. Deep research and engineering design follow the same pattern.

What licence is it under?

The NVIDIA NeMo Agent Toolkit repository on GitHub is Apache 2.0 licensed, free to inspect and build on: https://github.com/NVIDIA/NeMo-Agent-Toolkit
