FAQ
Can I use it today?
Not yet. Oracle's footnote states the platform is planned to be available within the next 12 months, starting in the US with expansion to all supported OCI Enterprise AI regions over time.
Which industries does it cover?
Oracle lists engineering and construction, retail, finance, restaurants, government, utilities, communications and hospitality among the supported industries.
Am I restricted to Oracle's own models?
No. You choose from the models supported through OCI Enterprise AI based on what a particular agent or use case needs.
How does it reach capabilities in my existing applications?
It connects to approved Oracle Industry Application tools and capabilities through Model Context Protocol servers, and those connections are reusable across multiple use cases.
How are agents kept from overstepping?
Guardrails hold agents within configured permissions, policies and organisational roles while managing their access to applications, data and tools, and observability covers execution traces and operational metrics after deployment.
