FAQ
What is OutSystems Agent Experience?
A capability OutSystems announced as generally available in October 2026 at its World Tour Las Vegas stop. OutSystems says it opens its platform to any AI coding agent, including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Kiro, so even heavily regulated enterprises can use any AI coding tool and still get the security, reliability, integrated lifecycle management and architectural coherence they need.
Do I have to switch the coding agent I already use?
OutSystems says no. Agent Experience is positioned as open and model-independent: developers keep their preferred coding agent while the platform enforces system dependencies, data relationships and governance guardrails.
What problem does it solve?
OutSystems cites New Relic survey data that 74% of AI-generated code requires significant post-generation rework or is never deployed. Agent Experience lets external coding agents shape the architecture while the platform generates the code deterministically, which OutSystems says cuts risk and speeds the path to production.
Where can applications be deployed?
OutSystems says public cloud, private cloud, on-premise or hybrid, so customers can keep operational sovereignty while meeting strict regulatory and security requirements.
Is it available now?
Yes. OutSystems announced general availability of Agent Experience in October 2026 and said a new insurance offering, Agentic First Notice of Loss, launches in November, with an Insurance Agent Kit of pre-built claims agents on OutSystems Forge.
Are there public customer examples?
OutSystems lists three early-access customers: sign manufacturer YESCO compressed software release cycles to two weeks using Claude Code with the platform; US law firm Lowenstein Sandler built a production-ready Litigation Matter Tracker in under three hours; and Danish retailer Normal cut a single application build from six weeks to two.
