FAQ

Is Warp actually free?

The terminal itself is free. The Free tier is $0/month and includes the modern terminal, Warp Agent CLI access, bring-your-own AI inference, limited cloud agent access and limited cloud conversation storage, with additional agent usage billed pay-as-you-go.

What separates Build from Max?

Build is $20/month with $20 of agent usage included each month at API rates, full Warp Agent access, the highest codebase indexing limits and unlimited Warp Drive. Max is $200/month with $200 of agent usage included — 10× Build — for heavy parallel agent use.

How is the team plan priced?

Business is $50 per user per month ($45 on annual) for up to 25 seats, including $20 of agent usage per seat each month plus team usage metrics, admin-configurable data controls, bring-your-own API keys and SAML SSO. Beyond 25 seats you move to Enterprise, which adds self-hosted cloud agents and BYOLLM.

Does it work alongside Claude Code and Codex CLIs?

Yes. Warp now manages agents under the ADE framing, and its cloud surface even offers a beta to use any harness in the cloud, so external CLI agents can sit inside the same orchestration entry point rather than only Warp's own agent.

Do cloud agents ship my code off the machine?

The pricing page tiers data controls explicitly: Free offers individually configured data controls, Build adds team usage and spend caps, Business adds admin-configurable data controls, and only Enterprise provides self-hosted cloud agents plus routing inference through your own cloud. Confidential repos should start at Business.
