What do ping, download, and upload mean?
Ping is round-trip latency in milliseconds โ lower is better. Download is how fast you receive data (Mbps) โ higher is better. Upload is how fast you send data (Mbps).
How accurate are the results?
Results reflect the live network path between your browser and this site, affected by Wi-Fi signal, device performance, and congestion. Close bandwidth-heavy apps and run 2-3 times for an average.
Does the test use data?
Yes, roughly 1-2MB per full run, mostly from download-test probe requests.
Why is my result lower than my ISP advertises?
ISPs advertise "up to" speeds. Real speeds are affected by router, cable, Wi-Fi distance, and concurrent devices. Retest with an Ethernet cable directly into your modem.
Is my data uploaded?
Test requests only measure network speed. No personal data is collected or stored.
