What is this workdays calculator?
An online business days calculation tool. Input: start date, end date, and optional holiday list. Output: the number of workdays between the two dates (excluding weekends and holidays). Used for project planning and payroll calculation. All calculation runs locally in your browser.
Does it include weekends?
No. Workdays exclude Saturdays and Sundays by default. If you need to include weekends, use a regular date calculator instead.
How do I add custom holidays?
Click the "Add Holiday" button, enter the date and name. You can add multiple holidays like Spring Festival, National Day, company vacations, etc. These dates are automatically excluded from the calculation.
Is the start date counted as a workday?
You choose. By default, the start date is included. You can switch to "exclude start date" mode. For example, calculating workdays from Jan 1 to Jan 5: including the start date is 5 days, excluding it is 4 days.
Does it support cross-year calculations?
Yes. Calculate workdays for any date range, including cross-month and cross-year scenarios. Just pick the correct start and end dates.
Are the results accurate?
Yes. It uses a standard date calculation library, accounting for leap years and varying month lengths. But holidays must be added manually — the tool does not automatically recognize public holidays in different countries.
